Button Drill Bits Principle
The drill rig transmits high-frequency impact force and rotating torque to the drill bit through the drill steel.
Under impact action, the tungsten carbide buttons crush and crack the rock directly. Meanwhile, the bit rotates
continuously to cut new rock surfaces and form a regular borehole. High-pressure air or water flows through
the inner channel and flushing grooves of the bit to remove rock powder timely. The uniformly arranged buttons
and heat-treated steel body effectively disperse impact stress, enhancing wear and impact resistance for stable
drilling in hard rock formations.
